FIDELIS Skin & Coat Plus+ Dog Supplement – Omega 3, Vitamin E, Salmon Oil, 120 Soft Chews

If your dog's coat has lost its lustre or their skin seems less than healthy, a targeted supplement can make all the difference. FIDELIS Skin & Coat Plus+ is a vet-formulated soft chew designed to support skin health and promote a shiny, vibrant coat from the inside out.

Recommended Dosage

For best results, feed one soft chew per 11 kg of body weight daily. For puppies, consult your veterinarian before uses. Adjust the amount based on your dog’s weight; for example, a 23-kg dog would receive two chews daily. The 120-count bottle provides a two-month supply for a 23-kg dog. Always ensure fresh water is available.

Key Ingredients and Their Benefits

FIDELIS Skin & Coat Plus+ contains a powerful blend of ingredients chosen for their skin and coat benefits:

• Salmon Oil: Rich in omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids, salmon oil helps maintain a glossy coat and healthy skin. Omega-3s are known for their anti-inflammatory properties, which may support skin comfort.
• Vitamin E: A potent antioxidant that helps protect skin cells from oxidative damage. It also supports immune health and skin hydration.
• Brewer's Yeast: A natural source of B-complex vitamins, which are essential for skin health and can help reduce itching and flaking.

These ingredients work together to transform a dull coat into a shiny, vibrant one while supporting overall skin health.

How to Choose the Right Supplement

When selecting a skin and coat supplement for your dog, consider the quality of ingredients, the form of the supplement, and your dog’s specific needs. FIDELIS uses natural, traceable ingredients and is made in the USA. The soft chews are easy to feed and come in a vegetable flavour that even picky eaters enjoy. Look for supplements that list specific omega fatty acid sources and avoid artificial additives. This product is suitable for all breeds and sizes, with a feeding guideline based on weight.

Safety and Side Effects

FIDELIS Skin & Coat Plus+ is generally well tolerated, but as with any supplement, monitor your dog for any adverse reactions. Overdosing on fat-soluble vitamins like vitamin E can be harmful, so adhere to the recommended dosage. If your dog is on medication or has a pre-existing condition, consult your veterinarian before starting any new supplement. In case of digestive upset, reduce the dose and gradually increase. This product is a complementary pet food and should not replace a balanced diet or veterinary care.

What Are Antioxidant Supplements for Dogs?

Antioxidant supplements for dogs are specially formulated to combat oxidative stress, support healthy ageing, and boost immune function. As dogs age or face environmental stressors, free radicals can accumulate, potentially leading to cellular damage. Antioxidants like vitamin E help neutralise these free radicals, promoting overall wellness. FIDELIS Skin & Coat Plus+ is a veterinarian-formulated soft chew that not only provides antioxidant support but also nourishes the skin and coat from the inside out.
