The Importance of Nose Care for Active Dogs

A dog's nose is an essential tool for exploration, but it is constantly exposed to weather changes, dry air, and allergens. Breeds like the Lagotti Romagnoli, known for their energetic nature, are particularly prone to dryness and cracking. Applying a high-quality dog nose balm helps maintain moisture and protects delicate skin, keeping your canine companion comfortable.

How to Apply Dog Nose Balm

1. Start with a clean nose – gently wipe away any dirt.
2. Take a pea-sized amount of balm on your finger.
3. Apply to the top and sides of your dog’s nose, avoiding the nostrils.
4. Massage gently in circular motions until absorbed. For best results, uses once or twice daily, particularly during dry seasons.
5. If the nose is severely cracked, apply a thicker layer and leave for a few minutes before wiping off any excess. Always consult your vet if irritation persists.
